Medicaid cuts make us suffer

Man, these potential Medicaid cuts are really messin' with my head, especially for my folks on those DUAL DSNP Medicare Advantage plans.
I'm seriously worried about what's gonna happen to them if this stuff actually goes through the House and Senate.

I work with a ton of low income programs here.

And what about all the folks in assisted living or nursing homes whose care Medicaid is covering? They're gonna be in a world of hurt.
Plus, a whole bunch of people who got their insurance through the ACA are gonna lose it too.

It's gonna be a total mess, all so the richest 1% can get basically pointless tax breaks wth, man?!
What's everyone else think about this whole situation?

I totally feel you on this, these potential Medicaid cuts are too much, especially for folks on DUAL plans and those relying on long term care. It's gutting to think about how many vulnerable people could potentially lose critical coverage while the wealthiest barely even notice a slight difference. If this goes through, it's not just a policy change, it's a full on crisis for millions. Sigh

Medicaid cuts might really impact Dual D-SNP plans, nursing homes, and ACA coverage, all just to give tax breaks to the wealthiest. It's a tough situation. What can we do about it?

We need to take some kind of action, although I'm not sure what. We also need telehealth, most notably. This is helpful for people who can't travel far, and it's great for groups too.

It feels like a major step backward for healthcare access. many of us share your concerns about who these cuts would truly benefit and at what cost to others.

Guys, I've read you and I understand the situation and I see the problem for multiple sides of this story. With that said, what are the options here, what can be done to fix this or at leas minimize the damage?

Truth is, if these cuts go through, the only fix is massive public pushback, calls, protests, votes. We can't budget-cut our way to equity. Gutting healthcare to fund tax breaks is just immoral
