Is MAP still needed?

Just would like to check with you all if this 65 year old woman I am helping out still needs a Medicare Advantage Plan? She already has TriCare and has drug coverage in it. Will adding MAP limit her and require her to file claims on her own? I think the just adding dental and vision coverage to her original plan will be enough but I am not really sure. Trying to see if this is the smarter route or am I missing something? Thanks everyone

If she already has TriCare with drug coverage, a Medicare Advantage Plan might actually complicate things. It's not gonna help more than you expect it to. I guess it's better just getting separate dental and vision if that's all she's missing.

Yeah I agree with @Nancy Wheeler Medicare Advantage often requires using their network and might mean more claims to handle. Sticking with Original Medicare plus Tricare and adding standalone dental and vision plans is usually simpler and lets her keep her current benefits without extra hassle
