I'm working on some analysis and I need to gather as much information as possible on low income families in rural areas for each state. Does anyoine know where I can find this info or can anyone outline things for me real quick?

Everything is up on the internet already. What specific info do you need when you mean "as much info as possible" though? Healthcare or what?

If you're looking for info on low-income families in rural areas, the USDA's Economic Research Service and Census SAIPE are good places to start. You can also find local stats on Data.Census.Gov. The South seems to be hit hardest, facing more poverty and lower education levels

this is a great idea, for other alternatives are the US Census Bureau, like the ACS, the Current Population Survey, or the SAIPE. they'll have the data too
